Our Fees And Rates

                                                           

Psychological fees are set in accordance with the recommended fee schedule of the Psychologist's Association of Alberta and are based on a 50-minute session. Each individual counselling session is $200 however, clients may be eligible for a sliding fee scale depending on their coverage and financial position. Please check with your employer or healthcare provider regarding coverage of psychological services as fees may be fully or partially covered.  Note: A referral from a medical doctor is not required to begin counselling services and there is no charge for the initial 15-minute phone consultation. 

 

This $200.00 fee does not apply to the Clients with Treaty Status or have been impacted by the Residential School System. First Nations Inuits Health Branch (FNIHB) and Indian Residential School support program provides coverage for 20 sessions. Our psychologist, Kathleen Golosky, Adriana Henderson and Leigh Sheldon falls under the guidelines of (FNIHB) and can help provide counselling at no cost to the client.  ​FNIHB covers Group therapy , Individual therapy and Family Healing Circles.

 

Clients that have suffered from the impacts of Residential Schools, can access 60 free sessions. Please contact a psychologist to learn more. 

Provisional Registered Psychologist fees are $150.00. They also have covered by insurance benefits and  Jordan's Principle. They are not covered under FNIHB however, the psychologist will provide a sliding fee scale based on clients needs. 

All Indigenous counsellors, Mental Health Providers and Interns are all pay for services. These fees are may or may not be refundable with Insurance companies. Indigenous Counsellors also fall under Jordans Principle. 


Our agency provides sliding fee scale rates by counsellors. Indigenous Counsellors have a Masters Level Education and Canadian Counselling Accreditation. Counsellors are also covered under Sunlife,  Pacific BlueCross, Equitable Life, Greenshield, Bluecross and Manulife.  These services are also tax reimbursed. 

Fees range from 70.00-125.00 based on specialization.

 

Masters of Counselling students offer sliding fee scale rates. They are supervised by Leigh Sheldon and trained to offer indigenous counselling services. Their rates are $50.00. Interns will also accept less than $50.00.

​Payment Options include: cash, cheque, or e-transfer occurs at the beginning of each session and a receipt will be issued.  Direct billing is available for insurance companies and FNIB.
