My Story

Each person’s experiences can only be witnessed and felt from their own
perspective. I recognize that every person has an innate human need to be heard,
witnessed, respected, and honoured in those experiences. The focus of my
practice is to honour every individual’s unique feelings, circumstances, and
experiences without interpreting them. My goal is to find the deepest meanings
to their experiences. I want to help them heal from those experiences and help
them to integrate them into becoming empowered to live their fullest lives.

I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker in BC and in Alberta. I have expertise in
mental disorder assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. I am a play therapist
certified in the US and Canada. I have worked with Indigenous families across BC
and Alberta. I have experience with hundreds of individuals in BC and nationwide.
I am licensed in most Canadian jurisdictions and I provide telehealth services to
many individuals from many different backgrounds and various walks of life in
both French and in English.

I am enthusiastic and passionate in my practice. I honour the connection between
the mind, body, and soul. I incorporate the holistic side of health into my practice
and personal life. Personal health includes nutritious food, exercise, sunshine, and
a healthy lifestyle. I am a dually certified yoga teacher, a Reiki healer and have
training in acupressure.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional territories of Treaties 4, 6, 7, and 8 on Turtle Island—ancestral land of many Nations, including the Blackfoot Confederacy (Kainai, Piikani, Siksika), Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney-Nakoda, Tsuu T’ina, and the Métis Peoples.

We honour the deep connection of these Nations to the land, and our shared responsibility to protect and respect Mother Earth. We pay tribute to the ancestors, the children, the missing and murdered Indigenous women and men, and all those who rest here.

We recognize the ongoing journey of healing and the shared duty of all treaty people. We stand in solidarity with those present, forgotten, and lost, and seek guidance and wisdom from the land.
