My Story

I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience as a social worker and five years of experience as a therapist, providing counselling to adolescents, adults, and couples. I work with individuals and families navigating trauma and attachment-related concerns, as well as depression, anxiety, substance use, and grief.

I also support parents and families experiencing family conflict, including high-conflict divorce or separation, helping clients build emotional safety, strengthen communication, and move toward more stable and connected relationships.

My work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care, and I integrate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Clinical Hypnosis to meet each client’s unique needs. I am guided by the Seven Sacred Teachings, which inform my approach to healing and are thoughtfully incorporated into my practice. Clients can expect a therapeutic space that is safe, respectful, emotionally attuned, and culturally sensitive, with care tailored to their goals and lived experience.

Treetops
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional territories of Treaties 4, 6, 7, and 8 on Turtle Island—ancestral land of many Nations, including the Blackfoot Confederacy (Kainai, Piikani, Siksika), Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney-Nakoda, Tsuu T’ina, and the Métis Peoples.

We honour the deep connection of these Nations to the land, and our shared responsibility to protect and respect Mother Earth.

We pay tribute to the ancestors, the children, the missing and murdered Indigenous women and men, and all those who rest here.

We recognize the ongoing journey of healing and the shared duty of all treaty people. We stand in solidarity with those present, forgotten, and lost, and seek guidance and wisdom from the land.
