We Are Expanding

We are a very fast growing community of practitioners. We are opening offices throughout Alberta and different parts of Canada.  There is an immense need for people looking for this type of services and have the opportunity to be very busy. We are unique with our focus on the importance of culture.  Each practitioner undergoes quarterly training that is provided by the agency. Training is cultural and trauma focused and provided by our agency. Practitioners are entitled to have their own practice while honoring the values of Kinship that is placed within our foundation of practice. Our agency is a place where we can share our passion working with Indigenous people.

We work within a safe community of practice and support each other through our values of kinship and kindness. We follow a circle approach to running an organization. Our Medicine Wheel approach to running a practice and supporting our clients creates an opportunity for providers to have a voice. We believe in healthy, safe communities and supportive kinships with each other while supporting the people we work with. Our agency is unique in that we focus on best practices for Indigenous peoples. This means we honor the Two-Eyed Seeing approach by embodying our traditional ways of living, doing, and being while caring for our people from a mental health perspective with knowledge of complex trauma. Not only do we honor holistic approaches to wellbeing, but we also incorporate these into our daily lives. We seek people passionate about working with, helping, and experiencing culture.

We are competitive with offering a 70/30 split for those willing to do full-time in-person counselling for our FNIHB clients. We are expanding across Canada. We are only accepting full time providers at this time.

We are looking for practitioners who are interested in providing counselling and willing to learn the Indigenous culture.  We are only looking for full-time providers that can be registered under FNIHB. Practitioners can work on their schedules and have flexibility with in-person or through telehealth. Our agency supports personal growth and wellness.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We recognize that the land on which we gather is part of Turtle Island, situated within the territories of Treaties Four, Six, Seven, and Eight. This land has long been a sacred gathering place for many nations, including the Blackfoot Confederacy—Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika—alongside the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney-Nakoda, Tsuu T'ina Nation, and the Métis Peoples who call this region home.

The deep connection that the First Peoples have to this land teaches us our shared responsibility to protect and honor Mother Earth. Through this acknowledgment, we pay tribute to the ancestors, the children, and all those who rest here, as well as the missing and murdered Indigenous women and men.

We recognize the ongoing journey of collective healing for all of humanity.

We are reminded that all treaty people have a duty to one another.

We stand in solidarity with those beside us, those forgotten, and those lost.

We connect with Mother Earth for healing, guidance, and the teachings she offers.
